About Matt Hickam
I was born March 20, 1992 in Fountain Valley, California. Since then I have lived all over Orange County and Southern California. I now currently live in Garden Grove, California.
Matt Hickam Photography started around late 2008 in Huntington Beach, California when I was taking an ROP photography class in high school. I am now located a few miles away in Garden Grove. I am almost completely self taught although I do have a certificate in Visual Imagery. I started off doing the majority of my photography with film slr's and after high school I went exclusively digital. I have a strong passion for my work and I am always trying to improve myself. I also enjoy working with other photographers and sharing knowledge and techniques. I am currently an "On Location" Freelance Photographer. I specialize in live concert photography although I am willing to take pictures of just about anything. I like to practice various sorts of photography styles, processing, and editing techniques as well. I use all Canon equipment and Windows based PC's for my photography.
